Carpet and rug cleaning on yachts
Carpet and rug cleaning on a yacht is essential for hygiene, appearance and the lifespan of your floor coverings. Clean Pro cleans carpets on yachts and boats in Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and all along the French Riviera.
Carpet is a popular choice on yachts: soft and elegant, it brings comfort and style to the interior. But it is also the surface that suffers most: constant foot traffic, sand, salt, humidity, drink or sun cream stains. Regular professional cleaning restores its original look.
Why have your yacht carpets cleaned?
On board, carpets and rugs face much harsher conditions than on land. Sea air and humidity encourage odours and mould, while sand and salt get trapped in the fibres and wear them out prematurely. A vacuum cleaner is not enough to remove this deep-down dirt.
Professional carpet cleaning on your yacht:
- removes embedded dirt, salt and sand;
- eliminates stains and bad odours;
- sanitises the fibres (dust mites, bacteria);
- extends the life of your carpets and rugs.
It is particularly recommended before the start of the season, between charters and before the winter lay-up.
Our carpet and rug cleaning methods
We choose the most suitable method according to the type of fibre and how dirty it is:
Water extraction:
a suitable product is injected deep into the fibres, then extracted together with the dirt by a professional machine. Ideal for deep cleaning heavily used carpets and rugs.
Dry foam:
with our professional TASKI foam generator, fibres are cleaned with very little water. The carpet dries quickly, which is especially important on board a yacht, where humidity must be avoided.
Our methods allow us to work on large, medium and very small areas: salons, cabins, corridors, stairs, as well as rugs of all sizes.
